How to Fix USAA Quicken Download Problems

Some Quicken for Windows and Mac users are getting an OL-220 or HTTP error when trying to add or update accounts with USAA.

Steps let’s have a look at its causes

  • Download forms from Federal Savings Bank via Direct Connect
  • Direct Connect must go through their newly upgraded servers

If you receive an OL-220 or HTTP error using the USAA credit cardholder server, follow these instructions to reconnect

For additional information, please note that as of 1/28/21 at 12:30 p.30pm PST: even after completing these steps, you may still see errors for USAAcs for accounts on the Mobile or Web app This is a known issue, and we are already working to fix it.

Just before you begin, please make sure to have these details ready:

Instructions to perform a task

Quicken for Windows

Activate and deactivate the affected accounts to ensure the NEW name is selected

  1. Select the Account menu > List.
  2. For any existing USAA account with an OL-220 error, click the Edit button seeing the Account Details window
  3. To enter the Account Details window, click the Services tab, then select Online, and press the Deactivate.

Deactivate all of your accounts, and wait for all of those to be reset before trying to use them again.

4.To summarise, click the General in the same window, then switch window.

If you want to get rid of a name in the Financial Institutions field, just choose the Delete button. If you have multiple accounts, make sure to do this for all of them before trying to restore any of them.

5.Go to the Online Services tab, then click Set up now.

6. on the search bar, type in “USAA Federal Savings”

Clicking the USAA logo on the First Step of the Add an Account flow is not required, as the account will have already been added for you. Type to find. select the NEW option as well.

7. proceed by clicking “Get Access ID and Pin” on the right. The U.S.A.A. website will be opened.

You must use the USAA login and PIN to connect to Direct Connect. Do not use your banking website log-in information from your USAA profile

8.Sign in to the USAA and open a new browser window to register. After you’ve entered your information, you will see the opportunity to give Quicken access to USAA. Show your Access ID and PIN.

9. When you sign in with your Quicken using your Access ID and PIN, you will be asked to link the existing accounts you have downloaded from USAA. This should have matched if you were logged in automatically, but you can verify by going to the Link Accounts page. The option should include a link. (If you do not want to download an account, make sure to set it to the Unsubscribe option.”)

After following these steps, you should be able to retrieve USAA transactions.

Quicken for Mac

Activate and deactivate the affected accounts to ensure the NEW name is selected

1.You should look into any U.S.A.A. account that returns HTTP(s) 405 error, and open the Account Settings window.

2. Click the Account Settings menu and then click the Disconnect button. This screen should be automatically updated.

If you have multiple accounts with USAA (checking, savings, etc.), disconnect them completely.

3. Also, click the “Connect…

4. To search for the name “NEWUSAA Federal Savings.”

Type to find. You should make sure to always use the NEW listing, too.

5. To access your password ID and pin, click the “Get a Password” on the right side. The U.S.A.A. website will be opened.

6. If you encounter a problem, start a new browser and visit the website. After you’ve entered your information, you will see the opportunity to give Quicken access to USAA. Show your Access ID and PIN.

7.When you sign in to your account using your ID and PIN, you will be taken to a screen where you can link downloaded accounts from USAA. This should have matched if you were logged in automatically, but you can verify by going to the Link Accounts page. The option should include a link. (If you do not want to download an account, make sure to set it to the Unsubscribe option.

Once these steps are complete, you will be able to log into your USAA accounts again. After following all the above steps you’ll no further face Quicken an OL-220 or HTTP error however in case if it still occurs contact Quicken toll free number to talk to the expert.
