QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Enterprise?
QuickBooks Enterprise is the most powerful financial software on the market at this price point, in our opinion. It has been on the market since 2002 and has continued to grow in terms of features and functionality each year. It is capable of handling large amounts of data and provides users with advanced reporting options.
QuickBooks Enterprise is a desktop-based accounting software application. This means you can download and install the product on your own servers and host it locally. Numerous businesses, particularly those that handle personally identifiable information (PII), prefer this additional level of security.
While QuickBooks Enterprise syncs with the cloud, it is accessed from the desktop of your computer and is accessible offline or behind a firewall. Additionally, the product supports up to 30 users, making it an excellent choice for a larger business with additional employees who require access to the accounting system.
QuickBooks Online is a cloud-based accounting solution designed specifically for small businesses. As a user, you will access QBO via your browser by visiting a website and logging in to conduct business. It is available on a monthly or annual basis for up to five users.
Because QuickBooks Online is a SaaS product, you can access it from any location, at any time, including your phone. There is no software to install, and the updates are automatic without the need to download a package.
QuickBooks Online is an excellent choice for small businesses and organizations with fewer than ten employees. It includes many of the same features as Enterprise but at a more affordable monthly price.
